EVERYBODY COUNTS Week is coming October 20-24. Everybody Counts is a program designed to teach children about various disabilities and how children with these challenges cope with them. The goal is understanding; to help everyone look for the person behind the disability and to create a climate in which we all feel at ease with our differences. Each presentation will provide the children with an opportunity to experience what it would be like to cope with a disability. Would you like the opportunity to lead you child’s class in this experience? A script will be provided and there are typically 4-5 volunteers who share each presentation. Please contact Jennifer Sadowski (jenjen5757@aol.com) to be added to our volunteer list. When the dates and times are confirmed for each grade level, we’ll follow up with you to confirm if you are available at those times.
