The ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITTEE is continuing two recycling programs taking place at Ivy Hill.  We are collecting old holiday string lights for recycling this holiday season.  You can bring them in to school now through Friday, January 17th, 2014.  This week we started a new recycling program called Crayola ColorCycle.  The program turns Crayola markers into energy and helps kids understand the importance of their role in protecting the environment.  We will be collecting dried out markers in the commons and sending them to a conversion facility where they will be transformed into clean-burning fuel.  This recycling program will be on going until the end of the school year.  Thanks for doing your part to keep these items out of our landfills!  When we all do our own small part, it adds up to a big difference!  If you have any questions about these programs, please contact Leah Robideau (lkrobideau@gmail.com).

Hooray to all First Graders on their show!  The show was wonderful and now the YEARBOOK needs your pictures!  Parents, please upload those fabulous pictures you took so they can be in the YEARBOOK!  Upload your pictures to https://images.memoryebooks.com/login. Please note the grade of the pictured students.  Also, throughout the year please upload pictures you have from any school events. You and your children will love seeing their pictures in the YEARBOOK!
