Thanks for a job well done and wishing you luck at the next level.
We are currently collecting pop tabs, cell phones, cell phone batteries, and printer cartridges, so send them in to school to be recycled. We also collect Caprisun, and any similar juice pouches at school, which we send to TerraCycle to be “upcycled”, so send those in as well. We will also have a shoe and book drive in the upcoming months. Please save those items for future recycling! Thank you to everyone who brought their broken string lights in to be recycled instead of adding them to our landfills.
Dining for Dollars – 6 days left. Remember to visit Chili’s through January 31st to benefit the Ivy Hill PTA. Please print the Chili’s coupon found in the attached link, the coupon MUST be presented when ordering or picking up. Feel free to share these coupons with family and friends!
Art Awareness: What is Art? Ivy Hill’s Art Awareness committee wants our students to see art in different ways. During the week of February 4-8, we will be focusing on the topic of Consumer Art. We are looking for volunteers to help the classes by supervising the hands-on activity following the main presentation. No art experience necessary! We need no more than an hour of your time! Interested? Contact Judy Newman (email@example.com).
Just Move It! Mark your calendars! The Arlington Heights Council of PTAs and the ABC/25 Foundation are pleased to bring you the “Just Move it Challenge” on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Last year, we were able to raise $15,000 that will benefit our District 25 teachers and students. We had almost 900 participants in attendance representing 9 schools in which over 400 of the runners were students. We are looking for sponsors and will need volunteers. For more information, see the attached Just Move It flyer or contact Judy Newman (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Diane Liigsoo (email@example.com).
