Join in the Idle Free Zone campaign! The Village of Arlington Heights is currently promoting a community awareness program to encourage drivers to turn off their engines while waiting in areas such as the school. Less idling means less air pollution and less wasted fuel. Did you know that: Idling your car for 10 seconds uses more fuel than turning off the engine and restarting it. In addition, restarting your vehicle does not harm your engine or starter. Please turn off your engine when waiting to drop off or pick up your children from school and extracurricular activities, or when waiting for extended periods in a drive-thru, such as the pharmacy, bank or fast food!

Save the Date – FIELD DAY is Friday, June 1st. More information is coming soon.

I Fives go to:

Environmental Committee Lynette Nimmo, Suzanne Krause and Lynn Feder, for all of their work on the shoe drive. And to all families who donated items.

Reflections Committee – Lynn Feder and Suzanne Krause for all of their work on this years program and to all the participants. Great Job!!
