EVERYBODY COUNTS Week is coming October 20-24. Everybody Counts is a program designed to teach children about various disabilities and how children with these challenges cope with them. The goal is understanding; to help everyone look for the person behind the disability and to create a climate in which we all feel at ease with our differences. Each presentation will provide the children with an opportunity to experience what it would be like to cope with a disability. Would you like the opportunity to lead you child’s class in this experience? A script will be provided and there are typically 4-5 volunteers who share each presentation. Please contact Jennifer Sadowski (firstname.lastname@example.org) to be added to our volunteer list. When the dates and times are confirmed for each grade level, we’ll follow up with you to confirm if you are available at those times.
PICTURE RETAKES are scheduled for November 7th. More information will be provided as we get closer to that date.
